The Harcourts Cooper & Co Beach Series and Nick Carroll, Event Director of the Beach Series and a Takapuna Rotary member, are excited to partner this season with Takapuna Rotary and support the selfless work they’re doing in the North Shore and wider community.
Through this new partnership we’re raising funds for our wider community’s most at-risk and disadvantaged children by financially supporting ROMAC. Secondly, with support from Takapuna Rotary and Harbour Sport we’ve established the ‘Beach Series Scholarship Programme’ to help support lower-socioeconomic individuals and families into health and fitness initiatives.
ROMAC – ‘Rotary Oceania Medical Aid for Children’
ROMAC provides surgical treatment for children in New Zealand and Australia from developing countries from our Pacific region in the form of life giving and/or dignity restoring surgery not accessible to them in their home country.
The Beach Series team will be donating a portion of your entry free to help support a ROMAC child, and we encourage and hope that you’ll also make a donation when registering for your event online which will go directly to supporting a ROMAC child.
‘Beach Series Scholarship Programme’
A partnership with Takapuna Rotary and Harbour Sport has led to the ‘Harcourts Cooper & Co Beach Series Scholarship Programme’ being created. The Beach Series team have offered complimentary series passes to help support lower-socioeconomic individuals and families into health and fitness initiatives.
With the support of Harbour Sport and their Active Families programme we’ll be assisting lower socioeconomic families from the North Shore to get fit and healthy by taking part in the Beach Series each week.
